Mr. Lim Teck Mong is currently the appointed Director, Industrial Service, ASEAN in TÜV Rheinland based in Singapore office. He oversees TÜV Rheinland Industrial Service business operations in the ASEAN region including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. He provides relevant strategic directions, drives new product, solution developments and identifies merger and acquisition targets for the company.

With 30 years of experience in industrial inspection, testing and certification services for oil and gas (onshore and offshore), petrochemical, power, pharmaceutical and infrastructure industries, Mr. Lim was instrumental in some of the most significant public projects in Singapore. This includes leading teams to inspect track work for Singapore Land Transport Authority – MRT Circle Line and North East Lines, Sengkang and Punggol LRT Lines and the Changi Airport Line.

He was also involved in inspection works on Bedok and Seletar Sewage Treatment Plants, Punggol Town Sewage Plant, Sembawang Shipyard etc for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Singapore. For the Department of Industrial Safety, Ministry of Manpower, Singapore, Mr. Lim was involved in overseeing strict 3rd-party inspection works of critical steam piping, statutory pressure vessels and safety relief valves. Governments from ASEAN, South Asia, South America and Africa have also consulted him for industrial safety and quality assurance on their oil well drilling programs.

Prior to joining TÜV Rheinland, Mr. Lim was the Head of Industrial Services for ASEAN in CCIC, the Vice President for Industrial Services, ASEAN in TUV SUD and also the Division Manager of Industrial Services in SGS Singapore where he spent almost 20 years of his career there.

Mr. Lim holds a Diploma in Production Engineering from the Singapore Polytechnic and various technical certification on welding technology. Professionally, Mr. Lim was a corporate member of the Singapore Welding Society.
