Seet is an active contributor in the Singapore safety scene.  Besides being the Deputy Chairperson of the Quality and Safety Standards Committee, he is also the Chairperson of the Singapore Standards Technical Committee for Workplace Safety and Health, Deputy Chairperson WSH Council’s Industry Capability Building Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Fire and Civil Emergency Preparedness Council.  Seet was also past President of the Singapore Institution of Safety Officers and is its current Honorary President.

At the international level, Seet serves as INSHPO’s Secretary-Treasurer, a global organisation representing 13 OHS practitioner organisations from 10 countries.  He chaired the Singapore Accord where more than 50 organisations from 18 countries committed to uphold high standards of competent OHS professionals and practitioners.

Positions that Seet held in industry include General Manager for Global HSE Programs, and Regional EHS Director of two Fortune 500 MNCs.
