Suman has around 11 years of experience in Design HSE, Risk Engineering experience in a wide spectrum of HSE & Human Factor Engineering (HFE) responsibilities, including & not limited to Occupational Safety, Ergonomics, Risk Assessment (e.g. QRA), ALARP, Safety Case regime, several HSEQ roles (incl. HSE Audits), possesses Master degree in Engineering Safety with First Class First, Certified  Internal Auditor of ISO 14001:2004 Suman worked in various reputed organisations including Main EPC Contractor, Engineering Contractor as well as in Fabrication Sites.

He was acting as Working Environment/Human Factor Engineering Specialist to ensure the design is compliant with various Design requirements.

Suman has worked around 11 EPC Projects where he was involved in FEED/ Detailed Engineering/ Construction Phases of various Working Environment/HFE assignments of the respective project. 

His specialities including and not limited to: 

• Author and Pioneer of company’s Internal HFE Design Guidelines
• Successfully lead UK and Norwegian Offshore HFE Projects for full phases
• Specialist in Valve Criticality Analysis, HFE Design Review in 2D/3D Model for FEED/Design/Construction Phase, Control Room Design, Task Analysis for Human Factor Engineering related works, WEHRA, WEIA, CRIOP, Job Hazards Analysis, HFE Inspection for Vendor Packages/Overall Platform
• Prepared many projects customized Working Environment / HFE Checklist and special skills to identify issues in early Design Phase
• Pivotal Team Member for successful implementation of HFE requirements in Design Stage: reduce minimum 35% Design HFE issue from Construction Phase  
• Wide knowledge of International HFE Standards (NORSOK/UK HSE Guidelines/ Norwegian Requirements/ISO/EN etc.) with extensive application of Client Specific Standards (Statoil’s TR, Shell DEP etc., Guidelines of ConocoPhillips etc.) and huge previous Experience Transfer knowledge of HFE projects from various sources

As he worked on various site, he has extensive practical knowledge and experiences to implement Working Environment/ Human Factor / Ergonomics requirements in Oil and Gas projects. 

As a full spectrum EPC design HSE player Suman have worked with various renowned end users (e.g. Statoil, Maersk Drilling, Rowan Drilling, Floatel, Noble Drilling, ENSCO, SLNG etc).
